Rocktober Halloween Bash, Lewisville

  • Location: Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church St., Lewisville

  • Date and Time: Friday, October 27, 5–9 p.m.

  • Description: The City of Lewisville is going all out for Halloween. They'll be closing down streets to set up carnival games, live music, a haunted house, and other spooky activities. The trick-or-treat fun runs from 5 to 7 p.m., and at 6 p.m., eMpTyVs, a tribute band playing music from the '80s and '90s, will hit the stage. For all the details, visit their website.

Dan Sake Dinner

  • Location: Elephant East, 2823 McKinnon St.

  • Date and Time: Friday, October 27, 6–8 p.m.

  • Description: Elephant East is hosting a special sake dinner on Friday. The three-course dinner includes mouthwatering dishes like spicy tempura soft-shell crab, pan-seared halibut, and a delectable panda creme brulee, all expertly paired with Dan Sake. The cost for the dinner is $95, excluding tax and gratuity.

Peticolas Brewing Co. Halloween Party

  • Location: 1301 Pace St.

  • Date and Time: Friday, October 27, 6 p.m.

  • Description: Peticolas Brewing Co. is throwing a spooktacular Halloween party on Friday, featuring the Miami Cuban Sandwich Co. from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy casks of the Ghost of Alfred Brown and get ready for a costume contest and some other surprises. But let's be honest, the main focus here is on enjoying some top-notch beer.

5th Orbit Anniversary at Celestial Beerworks

  • Location: 2137 Butler St.

  • Date and Time: Saturday, October 28, 2–7 p.m.

  • Description: Halloween marks the fifth year of orbit for Celestial Beerworks, and they're celebrating with a fantastic party. Expect your favorite beers, live music, delicious food, and hourly surprises. There's even a costume contest. Tickets come in various levels, starting at $10 for non-drinkers, $40 for general drinkers, and $60 for VIPs, who receive an event glass, full-size pours, and access to a VIP lounge. The event will be held at The Satellite location, just a half mile from the brewery, with a shuttle service between the two locations.

La Neta Halloween Weekend

  • Location: 2525 Elm St.

  • Date: Friday to Tuesday, October 27–31

  • Description: La Neta near Deep Ellum is gearing up for an epic Halloween weekend. They've got a Spooky Lounge night on October 27 and 28 that goes until 2 a.m., complete with drink specials and DJs—costumes are highly encouraged. On October 29, they're hosting a Halloween-themed brunch (again, costumes are strongly suggested). Finally, on Halloween night, they're throwing a party with tacos, tequila, $25 bottomless margaritas, $20 endless tacos from 7 to 11 p.m., and even watermelon shots. See you there!

Deep-O-Ween at Deep Ellum Brewing Company

  • Location: 2821 St. Louis St.

  • Date and Time: Saturday, October 28, 1 p.m. – 2 a.m.

  • Description: Join the festivities at Deep Ellum Brewing Company for Deep-O-Ween. The event includes a costume contest, live music featuring Super Kilo from 1 to 4 p.m. and Loyal Sally from 6 to 9 p.m., and delicious food from Smok'N Meat Rack BBQ, available from 5 to 9 p.m.

Balcones Distilling 15-Year Anniversary in Waco

  • Location: 225 S. 11th St., Waco

  • Date and Time: Saturday, October 28, 4–9 p.m.

  • Description: Balcones Distilling in Waco is celebrating their 15-year anniversary at their distillery on Saturday, October 28. The event promises live music, local vendors, mouthwatering bites from local restaurants, and, of course, samples of their exquisite whiskey. General admission tickets cost $8, while VIP tickets are $30, and a VIP tasting event ticket is $75. There will also be limited special releases available on a first-come, first-served basis. VIP ticket holders will enjoy early access to the bottle shop at 3 p.m. Don't miss this remarkable anniversary celebration!
