  1. AT&T Discovery District presents "Red, White and Groove" - Enjoy a pre-Fourth of July concert in downtown Dallas at AT&T Discovery District. The Texas Army National Guard's 36th Infantry Division Band will perform from 4 to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

  2. Liberty by the Lake in The Colony - Head to The Colony Five Star Sports Complex for the Liberty by the Lake festival from 6 to 11 p.m. Enjoy a family fun zone, live music, and a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. There will also be a watermelon eating contest, food trucks, and vendors. Admission and parking are free.

  3. Independence Day Weekend at the Dallas Arboretum - Visit the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden for a four-day celebration from July 1 to July 5. Enjoy live music, animal encounters, hot dogs, and root beer floats. Admission is $5, and parking is available for an additional fee.

  4. Liberty Run 5k and 1-Mile Walk in Denton - Participate in the Liberty Run 5K and 1-mile walk starting at 7:30 a.m. at Denton Civic Center. The Yankee Doodle Parade will follow at 9 a.m. Admission fees apply for the race, but the parade is free to attend.

  5. Independence Day Celebration in Farmers Branch - Join the celebration at Farmers Branch Historical Park starting at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy roaming characters, airbrush tattoos, live music, and a low-level fireworks show. Free for residents with a Firecracker Fast pass, $5 for nonresidents.

July 2:

  1. Independence Day Celebration in Forney - Head to Forney Community Park at 6 p.m. for a festival featuring music, games, bounce houses, and a fireworks finale at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.

  2. Independence Day Celebration at PGA Frisco in Frisco - Experience the first Independence Day celebration at PGA Frisco Resort from 6 to 10 p.m. Enjoy live music, carnival games, face painting, food trucks, and a fireworks and drone show. Free admission tickets are sold out, but you can purchase an overnight hotel package for guaranteed entry.

  3. Keller Lights in Keller - Join the activities at Keller Town Hall from 4 to 10 p.m., including live music, a hot dog eating contest, and food and drink vendors. The event concludes with a 15-minute fireworks show.

  4. Klyde Warren Park's Independence Day Celebration in Dallas - Visit Klyde Warren Park for an evening of live music, festival fun, food trucks, and pop-up bars. The pyrotechnics display will be synchronized to a patriotic playlist. Admission is free.

  5. Lake Cities 4th of July in Lake Dallas - Enjoy a family-fun party at Lake Dallas City Park, with a parade, watermelon eating contests, frozen T-shirt contests, live music, and a fireworks display. The festivities start at 9 a.m., and the fireworks begin around 9 p.m.

  6. Let Freedom Ring Independence Day Parade in Midlothian - Don't miss the Let Freedom Ring patriotic parade at 10 a.m. starting from Midlothian Community Park. The city's fireworks show will take place on July 3.


RED OAK Event: Red Oak Free Event Date: Jul 2, 2023 Location: Oaks Church (Red Oak)

Join us at Oaks Church in Red Oak for a free event called Red Oak Free. Activities include bounce houses, a climbing wall, an airbrush tattoo artist, and face painting. Indulge in delicious treats from food trucks, such as corn dogs and shaved ice. The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m., culminating in a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

JULY 3 ADDISON Event: Addison Kaboom Town Time: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM CDT Location: Addison Circle Park

Ranked as one of the top five fireworks shows in the country by USA Today, Addison Kaboom Town at Addison Circle Park is a must-see. Enjoy live music, an air show, a variety of food and drinks, and be prepared to witness the breathtaking fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. While Kaboom Town tickets are sold out, you can still join patio and parking lot watch parties at various restaurants and bars in Addison. Visit the event website for a list of watch parties and hotel packages that include Kaboom Town tickets.

ARLINGTON Event: Arlington Independence Day Parade Time: 9:00 AM Location: Downtown Arlington

Celebrate Independence Day in Downtown Arlington with the Arlington Independence Day Parade. Starting at 9 a.m., the parade features more than 120 floats, bands, drill teams, and mounted units. Later, join the downtown Light Up Arlington festival from 6 p.m. onwards for a fun-filled evening with food trucks, vendors, and live music on multiple stages. The festival concludes with a magnificent fireworks display set to music from "The Ranch" KFWR-FM (95.9) at 9:50 p.m.

DENTON Event: Denton July Jubilee Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM CDT Location: Quakertown Park

Join the Kiwanis Independence Day celebration at Denton's downtown square. From 6 to 10 p.m., enjoy children's activities, food trucks, a hot dog eating contest, and live music by Denton's polka and world music band Brave Combo. Don't miss the captivating drone show lighting up the sky at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free, and donations are requested for the Denton Kiwanis Children's Clinic.

FRISCO Event: Frisco Freedom Fest Time: Jul 3 - 4:00 PM onwards, Jul 4 - 3:00 PM Location: Frisco Square

Celebrate freedom at Frisco Freedom Fest, a two-day extravaganza. On July 3, the event starts at 4:45 p.m. on Simpson Plaza at Frisco Square with a cornhole tournament, followed by the Dachshund Dash, the Yankee Doodle Poodle Parade, and the Hotter 'n Firecrackers 5K Glow Run. The festivities continue on July 4 with Taste of Frisco at 3 p.m. and the Party in the Plaza from 4 p.m. onwards. Enjoy various activities such as a children's expo, a community stage, games, carnival rides, a car and motorcycle show, and a vendors village. After the FC Dallas game, prepare to be mesmerized by a spectacular fireworks display. HURST Event: Hurst Stars and Stripes Time: 6:00 PM Location: Hurst Community Park

Join the annual Stars and Stripes celebration at Hurst Community Park. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., offering food trucks and live music by Micky and the Motorcars and Emerald City. The fireworks display begins at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free, and there is a free shuttle service available from North East Mall.

LATINO SUMMER ESCAPE Event: Latino Summer Escape Time: 4:00 PM Location: Lee Harvey's

Experience a reggaeton pool party "Latin American style" at Lee Harvey's Dive-In in Dallas. Starting at 4 p.m., enjoy live entertainment, Latin radio and club DJs, a bikini contest, and a Fourth of July glow rave at midnight. Tickets start at $40.

LONE STAR PARK Event: Lone Stars and Stripes Fireworks Festival Time: Jul 3 - 3:00 PM onwards, Jul 5 - 3:00 PM Location: Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie

Stay after the horse races on July 3-4 for the Lone Stars and Stripes Fireworks Festival at Lone Star Park. Between races, enjoy live music on the Courtyard of Champions plaza. From 3 to 9 p.m., kids can have fun with pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, and games. The festival concludes with a 20-minute fireworks show after the last race. General admission is $10, and parking is $20.

MCKINNEY Event: Red, White and Boom Date: Jul 3, 2023 Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM CDT Location: McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch

Celebrate Independence Day at McKinney's annual Red, White and Boom festival. On July 3, from 6 to 10 p.m., enjoy music, food, kids' activities, a concert, and a fireworks finale at Gabe Nesbitt Community Park. On July 4, the celebration continues with a parade at 10 a.m. followed by a Yankee Doodle block party.

THE SOUND AT CYPRESS WATERS Event: 2nd Annual Sensory Sensitive 4th of July Celebration Date: Jul 3, 2023 Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM CDT Location: Sound at Cypress Waters

Experience a sensory-sensitive Fourth of July celebration at Sound at Cypress Waters. From 6 to 10 p.m., enjoy the 1999 The Legacy of Prince tribute production, DFW Disc Dog demonstrations, a Dallas Symphony Orchestra instrument petting zoo, face painting, and a laser light show.

SOUTHLAKE Event: Southlake Stars and Stripes Date: Jul 3, 2023 Time: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM CDT Location: Southlake Town Square

Celebrate at the Stars and Stripes festival in Southlake Town Square from 5 to 11 p.m. Enjoy patriotic stilt walkers, art buses, jumbo yard games, live music, a doughnut eating contest, and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Free shuttle service is available from White's Chapel Methodist Church and Gateway Church.

WAXAHACHIE Event: Waxahachie Crape Myrtle Festival and Parade Date: Jul 3, 2023 Time: 6:00 PM Location: Waxahachie Sports Complex

Kick off the Crape Myrtle Festival with a patriotic party at the Waxahachie Sports Complex starting at 6 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment and a fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. On July 4, a patriotic parade will begin at 10 a.m. from Getzendaner Park.

DUNCANVILLE Event: Duncanville 4th of July Celebration Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM CDT Location: Armstrong Historical Park

The celebration begins with the Lions Club parade at 9 a.m., followed by evening festivities at Armstrong Park from 6 p.m. Enjoy music, food, bounce houses, and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Free tickets for park entry must be downloaded from Eventbrite.

FAIR PARK FOURTH Event: Fair Park Fourth Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM CDT Location: Fair Park

Visit Fair Park for family entertainment and a fireworks display after dark. Concessions will be available, and many of the museums and indoor attractions will be open. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and parking is $10.

FORT WORTH'S FOURTH Event: Fort Worth's Fourth Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 5:00 PM Location: Panther Island Pavilion

Enjoy live music, kids' activities, festival food, and a fireworks show at Panther Island Pavilion along the Trinity River. Gates open at 5 p.m., and you can bring your own tubes for floating until 8 p.m.

GRAPEVINE Event: Grapevine July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 9:30 PM Location: Meadowmere Park

Witness fireworks over Grapevine Lake at 9:30 p.m. Multiple lakeside spots, including Oak Grove and Rockledge parks, offer great viewing areas. Pyrotechnics can also be seen from the Gaylord Texan Resort or the Grapevine Main Station parking garage. Parks charge a per-vehicle entry fee of $20, and gates close when capacity is reached.

IRVING Event: Irving's Sparks and Stripes Fireworks Show Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM CDT Location: Levy Event Plaza

Join Sparks and Stripes festivities in Irving, starting with a parade at 9 a.m. followed by a watermelon social in the Heritage District. Evening events at Levy Event Plaza in Las Colinas include live music, rides and games in the children's area, and a fireworks and drone show over Lake Carolyn at 9:15 p.m. Free parking and shuttle service are available at Williams Square Plaza.

LEWISVILLE Event: Annual Castle Hills July 4th Freedom Festival Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM CDT Location: Castle Hills Village Shops and Plaza

Enjoy pre-fireworks activities starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Castle Hills Freedom Festival. There will be bounce houses, a water slide inflatable, a bungee ride, a ninja tower, face painters, and balloon artists. Food and drinks from Castle Hills eateries will be available. Fireworks begin at dusk. Catch a free shuttle from Killian Middle School or Hebron High School.

OLD CITY PARK Event: Block Party at the Park Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM CDT Location: Old City Park (formerly Dallas Heritage Village)

Celebrate the Fourth of July with a block party from 2 to 6 p.m. at Old City Park (now known as Dallas Heritage Village). Enjoy old-timey games, a water gun duel, and music. Food trucks will be available, or you can pack a picnic. Admission is $10 and includes entry in a raffle.

PARK CITIES Event: Park Cities 4th of July Parade Date: Jul 4, 2023 Time: 9:00 AM Location: Highland Park Town Offices

Join the community parade in the Park Cities area. Decorated wagons and bikes are welcome. Preregistration is not required, and the procession starts at 9 a.m. on Euclid Avenue near Highland Park Town Hall, ending at Goar Park.

PLANO Event: Plano's All American 4th Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM CDT Location: Collin College Spring Creek Campus

Plano's All-American 4th celebration offers various activities, including a parade at 7:30 p.m., a free kids zone, carnival food, and giveaways to honor Plano's 150th birthday. Gates open at 6 p.m. at Collin College's Spring Creek campus. The festival concludes with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

ROCKWALL Event: Rockwall 4th of July Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 11:00 AM Location: Harry Myers Park

Start the day with a morning parade from Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium to Howard Dobbs Elementary, stepping off at 11 a.m. In the evening, head to Harry Myers Park at 7 p.m. for a festival featuring food, music, a parachute jump team demonstration, and fireworks around 9:15 p.m.

ROWLETT Event: Fireworks on Main Date: Jul 5, 2023 Time: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM CDT Location: Pecan Grove Park
