Welcome to Boardwalk Bites!
How It All Started
We’re a family-owned food truck that's a group of food enthusiasts with varied palates. We serve up fair food and treats in the DFW area and chose to showcase state fair treats as they are reminiscent of our childhood memories. Our combined passion for food and how it brings people together prompted us to start our first venture into the world of food!
We started with a simple tent set up serving fresh, hand-popped kettle corn. After wild success, we expanded our menu and purchased our first food truck, Zaza, to take our treats on the road!
We have worked at large fairs and festivals and have frequently attended school events, churches, weddings, corporate lunches, graduation parties, and birthday parties.
After 5 years of being on the road, we decided to expand once again. We purchased a second food truck, Ziggy, that continues to travel to events for our Carnival Food Catering!
What We Do
You bring the fun and let us bring the food to your next event or party!
Not close to the DFW area? Don’t worry - we’re always up for an adventure when the stars align, and we’ve traveled as far west as Arizona and east as Mississippi to serve up some foodie fun!
We Serve With Our Hearts
While we love cooking up delicious treats, we are also passionate about serving and giving back to our community! Over the years, we have donated thousands of dollars to various 501c3 organizations, PTAs, and churches, and during the pandemic, we provided local families in need with meal packages!
Not only do we use our business to do good, but we also serve our community in our day-to-day lives and through our careers! Owner, Cody, has over twenty years of healthcare experience and a Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences. He continues to serve the community through his work in the Emergency Room. Owner, Caitlin, has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and has served the community with nineteen years of dentistry.
We firmly believe that business is more than a transaction. Doing good helps facilitate our social relationships and contributes to a positive sense of meaning in life. True service is about serving others with full hearts and showing up when our communities need us most.
